Autumnforest Crush: Elon Musk

(Wikipedia) Elon Musk (born June 28, 1971) is an American engineer and entrepreneur best known for co-founding PayPal, SpaceX and Tesla Motors. He is currently the CEO and CTO of SpaceX, CEO and Product Architect of Tesla Motors and Chairman of SolarCity. Musk is best known for having created the first viable production electric car of the modern era (Tesla Roadster), for designing a private successor to the Space Shuttle (F9/Dragon) and creating the world's largest Internet payment system (PayPal).



I really appreciate people who see the way the world could go and leads it, even if the world isn't ready. I suspect he's not an innovator for purely humanitarian reasons, Elon just gets that our needs are changing, like the online PayPal needs and the needs for alternative powered vehicles. He's articulate, innovative, assertive, and rather cute (though I'm not big on baby-faced guys). I'm admittedly curious what he will come up with next... a Bigfoot trap? a car engine that turns off if someone uses their cell phone inside? Hmmm.....
